The Declaration of Independence was about creating something – a new nation.

The organized Marxist destroyers, rioters and looters of today, that go by the name Black Lives Matter, Antifa, or whatever name, are not about creating…they are about destroying, erasing, canceling – an exercise in elimination. Their purpose and intent is to destroy America and assert a Marxist-type of government. An important part of their success is attributable to the consent of the elites of America. The people who run the country’s major institutions – in business, academia, bureaucracies, media, politics, book publishing, social media, museums, and philanthropies. The assent, if not outright support, by the elites provides legitimacy to this destructive movement. The Marxists would not succeed if they didn’t have the support of the press, the Democrat Party, and the elites, and the enormous financial funding from major corporate America.

America needs its modern-day patriots, like the signers of the Declaration of Independence, to step up and assert their leadership. We need people today who will pledge their lives, fortune and sacred honor for the protection and preservation of America the Good.

The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America, When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

July 4th 1776

Two hundred thirty four years ago, a group of farmers, merchants and lawyers, citizens of the British colonies in America, exasperated at their treatment by a repressive colonial government, did an extraordinary and very dangerous act by declaring the independence of their new country, The United States of America, from England.

THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE

The immortal words of the Declaration of Independence reflect the revolutionary ideas of those colonists who decided they valued freedom over security:

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

On this Fourth of July in 2010 when our liberty seems to be under threat, let us all celebrate the principles that this great nation stands for: Life, Liberty and the right to pursue happiness, free from the intrusive restraints of government.  The revolution that started on July 4th 1776 was the spark that ignited the quest for Liberty in mankind throughout the world.  We must be careful that the light of Liberty which originated in this unique country not be extinguished or dimmed.
And….be sure to fly the colors on the 4th.  American  Flag

Celebrate by honoring our military
The best way to celebrate the day of our independence to do something to honor our military who put their lives on the line every day to preserve our freedoms in this country. Go to Operation Gratitude, MoveAmericaForward, SoldiersAngels, Freedom is not free, or other web sites which provide comfort to our military in the field and contribute either time or money, or send a letter to a serviceman or woman.

On this Fourth of July, let’s celebrate the principles of what this nation stands for: that freedom belongs to all mankind. The revolution that started on July 4, 1776 sparked a realization in the hearts of men that man is destined to be free – as our Creator intended . Not to be enslaved, but to be free. Let’s help others to be free, or our own freedom will be in jeopardy. Let’s take a stand for freedom for all!
